What correction actually involves
Color correction is $595 and books three hours, because it is not one service — it is diagnosis, then a sequence. Removing unwanted pigment, evening out bands where old color meets new, rebalancing tone across lengths that have been through different treatments, and finally getting to the color you actually wanted.
The consultation before it is complimentary and it is not a formality. Your colorist needs the history: what was on your hair, roughly when, whether any of it was box color, whether henna has ever been involved. Henna in particular changes what is safely possible, and it is the single most common thing people forget to mention.
The honest part
Some corrections cannot be finished in one appointment, and any colorist who promises otherwise is either guessing or is about to prioritise the result over the condition of your hair. Where that is the case we will tell you at the consultation, map it across two or three visits, and tell you the total before you commit to the first.
Hair integrity comes first throughout. K18 molecular repair and our Protein Renewal treatments are built into correction work where the hair needs them, because a technically perfect color on hair that snaps is not a result.
If it was our color
The RM Color Re-do is complimentary. If you sat in our chair and the color is not what we agreed, come back and we will put it right — that is not a correction, that is us finishing the job.

Frequently asked
How much does color correction cost in Miami?
Color correction at Red Market Miami is $595 and books three hours. The consultation beforehand is complimentary. Where a correction genuinely needs more than one appointment, your colorist will map that out and give you the full cost before you start.
Can you fix box dye?
Usually, yes — box color is one of the most common reasons people come in for correction. Bring as much history as you can remember: which brand, roughly when, and how many times. Be sure to mention henna if it has ever been used, because it changes what can be done safely.
Can my hair be corrected in one appointment?
Sometimes. It depends how much pigment has to come out and what condition the hair is in. We will give you a straight answer at the consultation, including when the answer is that it needs two or three sessions — pushing it all into one visit is how hair gets damaged.
What if I had my color done at Red Market and I do not like it?
Come back — the RM Color Re-do is complimentary. That is different from a correction; if the color we agreed is not the color you got, putting it right is on us.
