Hair Salon Near Miami Beach
North of Mid-Beach on Collins — a French colour house at Bal Harbour Shops, for balayage, colour correction and precision cuts.
Straight up Collins Avenue — roughly fifteen minutes from Mid-Beach, twenty-five to thirty from South Beach.
Everything on Miami Beach connects to us by one road. Collins Avenue runs from South Pointe all the way north to Bal Harbour, so the trip is simple even if it is not always short — about fifteen minutes from the Faena and Mid-Beach hotels, twenty-five to thirty from South of Fifth depending on the season.
Miami Beach has no shortage of salons, and we would not pretend otherwise. What tends to bring guests north is the specific thing we do: French hand-painted balayage and colour built to be lived in rather than restyled every week. A lot of the Beach salon market is oriented around the blow-out and the event look; ours is oriented around colour you keep for months.
The other reason is calm. Bal Harbour Shops is an open-air centre with a garage and valet, which makes the whole visit quieter than parking on Washington or Lincoln and hoping. Several of our Beach regulars describe the drive north as the point at which the appointment starts.

Miami Beach questions
- How long is the drive from South Beach?
- Typically twenty-five to thirty minutes straight up Collins, and longer during season or an event weekend. Mid-Beach is closer to fifteen.
- Is parking easier at Bal Harbour Shops than on the Beach?
- Considerably. The Shops have a dedicated garage and valet at the Collins Avenue entrance, so there is no street-parking hunt at the end of the drive.
