The four treatments, and who each is for

KERATIN ($450, 120 min) is the full treatment — the longest-lasting smoothing result, for hair that is genuinely frizzy or coarse and where you want months of easy mornings rather than weeks.

KC EXPRESS SMOOTHING ($250, 120 min) is the lighter version: less commitment, less cost, a softer result. It suits hair that behaves most days and misbehaves in August.

PRO ADDICTION ($575, 120 min) is the premium option and is as much a repair treatment as a smoothing one — for hair that is both frizzy and damaged, typically from repeated lightening.

MEN’S KERATIN ($250, 60 min) is a shorter service scaled to shorter hair. A keratin-infused blow out ($150, 60 min) is the one-off version if you want the result for an event rather than the season.

Smoothing is not straightening

A good keratin treatment should not take your texture away — it should take the frizz out of it. Curls stay curls, waves stay waves, but they stop expanding the moment you step outside. If you want your hair genuinely straight, say so at the consultation, because that is a different conversation and possibly a different service.

We will also tell you when you do not need one. If your problem is dryness rather than frizz, a Davines custom infusion or a deep conditioning mask will do more for you at a fraction of the cost.

Colour and keratin together

If you are colouring as well, the colour goes first and the smoothing treatment follows, in that order — a smoothing service applied over fresh colour can shift the tone. Your colourist will sequence both properly and tell you how long to leave between them.

Aftercare matters more with smoothing than with almost any other service, and it is mostly about what shampoo you use. Sulphate-free, and your stylist will point at the two or three that actually make a difference rather than the whole shelf.
