Hair Salon Near Bay Harbor Islands
A mile east over the 96th Street bridge — hand-painted balayage, dimensional colour and precision cutting at Bal Harbour Shops.
About a mile east across the Broad Causeway side, over the 96th Street bridge — five minutes door to door.
Bay Harbor Islands sits just across the water from us, and the drive is a single straight run east over the 96th Street bridge onto Bal Harbour. For residents of East Island and the Kane Concourse buildings it is one of the shortest trips to a serious colour salon anywhere in the county.
The two islands have changed quickly. The low-rise apartment stock along Bay Harbor Terrace has been steadily replaced by boutique condominium buildings, and the crowd has shifted younger and more design-led with it. What that shows up as in the chair is more appetite for lived-in, grown-out colour that does not demand a salon visit every four weeks — which is exactly what freehand French balayage is built to do.
Kane Concourse is also where a good deal of the area's beauty business sits, so Bay Harbor residents are not short of options. What brings them the extra mile east is usually one of two things: colour correction after something went wrong closer to home, or wanting a colourist who paints freehand rather than working purely in foils.

Bay Harbor Islands questions
- Is it quicker to reach you from Bay Harbor Islands than to drive into Miami?
- Considerably. We are about five minutes east over the 96th Street bridge, against roughly half an hour to Midtown or the Design District in normal traffic.
- Do you take on colour corrections?
- Yes, and a meaningful share of our Bay Harbor guests first come to us for one. Colour correction always begins with a consultation and a strand test — we will tell you honestly whether it is one appointment or a staged plan before you commit.
